PURPOSE:To obtain a high sensitivity image forming material giving a proof having such image quality that the proof can be used as a sample for a print by incorporating ar least one kind of specified sulfonium complex or oxosulfonium complex into a polymn. initiator in a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:This image forming material contains at least one kind of sulfonium complex or oxosulfonium complex represented by the formula in a polymn. initiator in the photosensitive layer. In the formula, each of R<1> and R<2> is aryl which may have a substituent, R<3> is alkyl which may have a substituent, aryl, an alicyclic group, etc., and R<4> is O or a lone electron-pair, R<5>-R<7> and R<8> are a group selected independently from alkyl, aryl, alkenyl, group, etc., which may have a substituent. All of R<5>-R<7> and R<8> are not a aryl group which may have a substituent at the same time. |
