<p>PURPOSE:To speedily and accurately input a ruled line, etc., by an inexpensive device by inputting a 1st and a 2nd straight line, and merging them into one line or connecting them in an L shape, etc., when the both are relatively close to each other. CONSTITUTION:When a handwriting is inputted along straight lines L14-L16 (a), the handwriting is recognized as segments L21-L25 (b). Those segments L21-L25 are merged into one straight line L27 (C) to form the same merging group with the existent segments L14-L16. Then a process for holding geometrical phase relation is performed, so intersections N1-N3 are also held similarly to the case of (a). Thus, the segments should be arranged closely as a condition of merging connection, L-shape connection, or T-shape connection. For the purpose, segments which should not be connected are inputted so that they are made intentionally separate, and then the segments are not connected.</p> |
