NETWORK SYSTEM AND COMMUNICATION METHOD FOR NETWORK

PURPOSE:To provide a simple and inexpensive means capable of continuously storing only received data in a storage area by dividing received data in a packet into two parts or more and transferring respective divided data to prescribed storage areas in a network constituted of connecting plural information processing system. CONSTITUTION:A computer node 1101 to be an example of an information processing system constituting a network has a processor 1102. a memory 1103 and a network adaptor 1110. The adaptor 1110 is provided with a multi-queue DMA control part 1111, a receiving buffer 1112, a transmitting buffer 1113. a network receiving part 1114. and a network transmitting part 1115. The control part 1111 selects a queue for transferring data in a packet out of a multi- queue stored in the memory 1103 based upon information included in a received packet stored in the buffer 1112, divides the data in the packet and transfers the divided data to prescribed storage areas.
