PURPOSE:To improve the probability of one-shot correction by outputting a proper word from homophones corresponding to a word consisting of a clause as the 1st candidate. CONSTITUTION:When a character consisting of a clause is traced with a pen 2, an underline for the specified character is displayed and the clause to be corrected is specified. When the pen 2 is not used for the correction of a sentence, a cursor is moved by a 'clause movement' key on a keyboard 1, similar correcting work is executed by a 'cancel' key and then a correct clause is specified by an 'area specification' key. When clause punctuation is correct, correction can be attained only by canceling a misconversion part. A word to be an objective correction conversion result is inputted by hand-writing and converted. For instance, 'kinshi' in a dictionary stored in a memory 8 of a body 9 appears in the order of conversion of 'kinshi' (inhibition), 'kinshi' (myopia spuria), 'kinshi' (gold thread) 'kinshi' (bacterium stop), 'kinshi' (close thinking), and 'kinshi' (gold paper) and compared with its candidate, and when a common point is included in both the words, 'kinshi' (myopia spuria) is outputted as the 1st candidate. |
