PURPOSE:To output a gas laser beam stably for a long time by controlling the operation timing of a sustainer power source and a spiker power source. CONSTITUTION:When a gas laser beam is outputted by applying the sustainer voltage from a sustainer power source 9 to the section between main electrodes 2 and 3 of a gas laser tube 1 and then, applying spiker voltage from a spiker power source 10, this device monitors the output level of this gas laser beam through a light receiving element, and varies the delay time Td until the spiker power source 10 operating since the sustainer power source 9 operating by the control of the CPU 33. |
