PURPOSE:To provide a piezoelectric actuator which has a simple construction, is easy to obtain at a low cost and shows a large displacement. CONSTITUTION:A spiral first electrode 12a and second electrode 12b are wound alternately on the longitudinal outer circumference of a rod-shaped piezoelectric ceramic 11 so as to have respective certain inclinations from the direction of a cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and not to cross each other. The spiral first and second electrodes 12a and 12b are connected respectively to two land electrodes 13a and 13b for lead wire connection which are provided 180 degrees apart from each other on the one side end of the longitudinal outer circumference of the rod-shaped piezoelectric ceramic 11. |
