PURPOSE:To reduce a transmission time of a holding tone and the power consumption by storing hold data in advance to a holding tone data storage section, reading the data at hold integrating the holding tone data into a post amble signal and sending the result intermittently. CONSTITUTION:A holding tone data storage section 5 stores in advance holding tone data Sk devised to be identical for a consecutive voice sampling time and number Sn of the voice sampling time over which the data Sk are bridged. The number Sn s coincident with a period of a post amble signal (POST) used for VOX control. When hold key depression information of a key entry section 1 is detected by a control section 2, after the operation of a voice signal processing section 4 is stopped, the holding data Sk+Sn comprising the data Sk and the number Sn are read from the storage section 5 for the voice sampling time. Then the data Sk are integrated as information for generating background noise of mobile station into the signal POST. Thus, the holding tone data are included in the signal POST and not sent for other time. |
