PURPOSE:To provide a low-speed, high-torque type vibration-wave motor improved in the frictional surface of its vibrating body, decreased in speed, and increased in torque. CONSTITUTION:In a vibration-wave motor in which a member provided with a composite resin layer which forms a contact surface against a vibrating body 2 that excites vibration wave is press-contacted with the body 2 and the member press-contacted with the body 2 is frictionally moved against the body 2 by the vibration waves generates by the body 2, a nickel-phosphorus-based alloy film containing a eutectoid silicon carbide is formed on the frictional surface of the body 2 and the composite resin layer is formed of a base material composed of a thermoplastic resin containing carbon beads of 5-30mum in means particle size. |
