CONSTITUTION:After polishing the surface of a metal plate with a brush roll and polishing liquid, refining rolling is performed by a refining roller. At this time, the brush yarn diameter or the brush roll, the grain size of abrasive grain contained in the brush yarn, and the grain size and concentration of abrasive grain contained in the polishing liquid are determined according to the depth or height of a non-conforming uneven part on the surface of the metal plate to be polished and the plate base roughness of the metal plate. The surface of the continuously moving metal plate is polished uniformly by such abrasive grain in the polishing liquid and in the brush yarn of the brush roll. At this time, the centerline surface roughness of the metal plate is to be 1.0mum or less over the whole surface. |
