NUMERICAL CONTROLLER WITH MENU DISPLAY FUNCTION

摘要

PURPOSE:To easily understand the hierarchical structure of menus and select a function by displaying a menu of a layer higher than a menu which is currently displayed and also displaying a mark indicating the presence of the menu of the low layer. CONSTITUTION:A function assembly of the hierarchical structure is displayed as a menu by utilizing multiwindow environment. A window control part 106 inputs an input signal from a keyboard 101 or touch panel 103 through an input control part 102, and a screen management part 100 displays the menu of the layer higher than the menu which is currently displayed corresponding to the hierarchical structure according to the kind of an input from the window control part 106 and also outputs a request to display the mark indicating the presence of the menu of the low layer at the display part to the window control part 106. The window control part 106 displays the mark on a CRT 105 through a display control part 104 at the request. Consequently, the hierarchical structure of menus can easily be understood and a function can easily be selected.
