PROCESSOR FOR CODED VIDEO SIGNAL

摘要

PURPOSE: To keep compatibility with an MPEG format by receiving an output word data stream and converting it to the code word stream of a form suitable for transmitting the format. CONSTITUTION: A code word from an MPEG standard processor 14 reports that when a new code word is in a preparation state receivable to a priority analysis buffer 22. The code word is read from the buffer 22 by one code each. A register 30 performs the function of adjusting the timing of the data stream and the synchronous code word output of the register 30 is inputted to a code word buffer 36. The timing-matched code word and flag from the buffer 36 are parallelly sent to a priority flag generator 40. In the output of the generator 40, blank code words are neglected by a transport processor 50 and the code words are packed to a cell.
