PURPOSE:To perform a work efficiently without necessitating a step-by-step operation by an operator by activating a printing means and sorting means to perform the printing and sorting of stored printing information on a following sheet, if a source document for plating making is not detected by a means of detecting a source document. CONSTITUTION:If a plurality of sets of information on the number of printed sheets are input in the storage means of a control part 2, and a source document for a first plate making is detected by a means 7 for detecting source documents, a first plate is made by a means 3 for making a plate. Next, the sheets of the set stored in a storage means are printed and sorted by a printing means 4 and a sorting means 5 respectively referring to a source document for first plate making. If a source document for a second plate making is detected by the means 7 for detecting source documents, the means 3 for making a plate prepares a second plate based on the source document for the second plate making. The printing means 4 and the sorting means 5 print and sort the sheets in the following set stored in the storage means based on the source document for the second plate making. If the source document for the second plate making is not detected by the means 7 for detecting source documents, the printing means 4 and the sorting means 5 print and sort the sheets of the following set which is stored in the storage means based on the first plate respectively. |
