PROCESS FOR CONVERTING PLASTIC INTO OIL

摘要

PURPOSE:To efficiently convert a plastic into an oil in a high yield while protecting a catalytic decomposition catalyst and preventing the deterioration of the quality of the produced oil such as low-boiling hydrocarbon oil by treating a plastic in a liquid-phase reaction vessel under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:A plastic such as PE and PVC is thermally cracked in a liquid- phase reaction vessel 3 to produce the vapor of cracked oil, halogen compounds in the vapor are removed by a dehalogenation tank 5 containing a reaction agent comprising an alkaline compound such as CaO and the purified vapor is reformed in a catalyst tank 6 to obtain an oil from the plastic.
