<p>PURPOSE:To improve reliability in operation of a hot water storing type electrical hot water heater for storing hot water from the upper part of a hot water storing tank. CONSTITUTION:A hot water storing type electrical hot water heater is comprised of a hot water storing tank 1, a hot water feeding circuit for connecting the lower part and the upper part of the hot water storing tank 1 with a circulation pump 2 and with a heater 3 stored in a heater device 4 in sequence, and a control part 9 for controlling the heater 4 with a signal obtained from a flow rate sensing means 7 arranged in the hot water feeding circuit. This electrical hot water heater is operated such that this signal is sent to the control part 9 so as to perform an electrical energization of the heater 4. Accordingly, even if the device is started to operate under a state in which the operation can not be performed due to a burn loss of a motor of the circulation pump 2, the flow rate sensing means 7 does not detect it, resulting in that the heater 4 is not electrically energized. In addition, in the case that water can not be circulated during the operation, the flow rate sensing means 7 detects it so as to stop the electrical energization of the heater 4, so that a surface temperature of the heater 4 is not abnormally increased to break the line.</p> |
