<p>PURPOSE:To provide an in-tank type fuel pump, which is easily fitted, and by which vibration caused by the fuel pump is reduced. CONSTITUTION:The foreign matters in the fuel pumped up by a pump part 20 is removed by a filter 24, and the fuel passes through the opening part 29a of a cap 29 and flows into a recessed part 31 and a fuel channel 32. The fuel flowed into the fuel channel 32 lifts a check valve 43 and flows into a recessed part 51, and is guided from a fuel channel 52 through a drain pipe 11 out of a fuel tank. A ball 34 is moved in a large diameter channel 33b according to the pressure of a fuel, and the fuel pressure required for fuel injection is adjusted. When pumping up of the fuel is stopped, there is no fuel pressure, and the ball 3 is abutted on a valve seat 36 by means of the energizing force of a compressed coil spring 35. The head part 43b of the check valve 43 is abutted on the valve seat 44 and the fuel channel 32 is closed thereby. The residual pressure of the fuel is held in a space from the recessed part 51 to the downstream side of the fuel.</p> |
