PURPOSE:To perform orderly collection of monitoring information on each road equipment instrument during patrol monitoring of a road on which road equipment and devices to be monitored are arranged. CONSTITUTION:Monitoring of a road equipment and device, such as an illuminating lamp 3, is effected and an device monitoring device 6 to perform wireless transmission of monitoring information is provided. A monitoring information collecting device 7 to collect, in order, monitoring information from the device monitoring device 6 is mounted on an inspection vehicle 8 for maintenance. When the monitoring information collecting device 7 passes the vicinity of the instrument monitoring device 6 to monitor a road equipment and device along with movement of the inspection vehicle for maintenance on which the monitoring information collecting device 7 is mounted, a linear distance between the monitoring information collecting device 17 and the device monitoring device 6 is shortened, whereby both the device monitoring device 6 and the monitoring information collecting device 7 perform transmission and receipt of monitoring information by using transmitting means of low power. |
