PURPOSE:To drastically reduce power consumption while preventing an offset at the time of fixing, in a color image forming device forming both of a single- color toner image and plural-color toner image. CONSTITUTION:The color image forming device is provided with a toner image forming means 3 forming the toner image of a single color or plural colors on a recording medium, a first heating means 50 located on the toner image side of the recording medium, to heat/fix the toner image thereon, a second heating means 54 located on the side opposite to the toner image side of the recording medium and a controller 71 making the quantity of electric power supplied to the second heating means 54 constant and simultaneously, changing the quantity of the supplied power according as the toner image has the single color or plural colors, while controlling the set temperature of the first heating means 50, so as to be constant. |
