PURPOSE:To inform an operator of the storage state of the operation of a start switch, even if an abnormal state is released by providing a display return means recovering the display of the storage of the operational state of the start switch, when the abnormal state is released before a fixing device reaches a prescribed temperature. CONSTITUTION:When an error occurs during a stand-by time by arrival at the prescribed temp. after the start switch is operated, a waiting time copy lamp is turned off to change the display state. When the abnormal state is released, it is decided that the next heating roller 16 reaches the prescribed temp. or not and when the roller 16 reaches the prescribed temp., a copying action is taken. Even if the abnormal state occurs, the operation of a start key is stored without resetting it and effectively kept after the release of the abnormality, as well. When return to a normal state is obtained before the roller 6 reaches the prescribed temp., the waiting time copy lamp is lighted again to inform the operator that the previous input of the start key is effective. |
