PURPOSE:To provide a selective calling receiver in which forgotten message confirmation for a message not confirmed yet is prevented and quick contact to a message sender is attained. CONSTITUTION:A detection means 61 in a control circuit 6 discriminates whether or not the number of unconfirmed messages is a specified number or over. When the number of unconfirmed messages is specified number or over, a notice start request is set. On the other hand, a notice means 62 discriminates whether or not the notice start request is sent from the detection means 61 and when the notice start request is sent, after a notice operation time is set, the means 62 drives any of a speaker 10, a light emitting circuit 12 or a vibration circuit 13 designated in advance for the set period to report the presence of unconfirmed message. |
