PURPOSE:To easily and surely grasp an up-to-date broadcast schedule by using a notice means to inform a specific program for automobiles and updating stored program data when the program is changed. CONSTITUTION:When a broadcast date of a traffic information program is changed, an information center 11 collects data relating to a revised program and sends the data to a pager base station 13 via a telephone line 12. When a pager receiver 14 mounted on an automobile receives updated data from a pager base station 13, a navigation control section 2 retrieves the program data corresponding to the broadcast station and the broadcast time of the received updating data among the program data stored in an IC card 1 and the program data are revised or deleted based on the updated data when corresponding program data are in existence and a program based on the updated data is added when no corresponding program data are in existence and the result is stored in the IC card 1. |
