SHIFT PATTERN CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TYPE SHIFT CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To perform subtle shift change control accurately, in regard to a shift controller available in an automobile automatic transmission. CONSTITUTION:This controller is provided with a means 12 setting a shift pattern having a shift step conformed to car speed and engine load and a shift step select command means 9 to do a select command of the shift step with the shift pattern set by this means 12, and in this constitution, the shift pattern setting means 12 varies two standard shift patterns 16A and 16B continuously according to a driver's driving characteristic, whereby it is constituted so as to set a shift pattern 16C to be used.
