METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ARTIFICIAL MARBLE

The artificial marble was obtained by the polymerization of acrylic syrup, inorganic powder filler and additives in the presence of initiator such as dibenzoyl peroxide and AIBN in mold and heated to the temperature which the initiator could be decomposed and activated. The difference of densities between the acrylic resins used as the basic color and the resin syrup used for the wave pattern was 100-200 centipoise and the quantity of high polymer in acrylic syrup was 20-40 wt.%.
