PURPOSE:To improve various properties which differ according to the use conditions and the like while ensuring the sealing performance, by making composite the seal member selected in correspondence with the property of sheet-like seal members composing a gasket base body. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of slits 5 are formed in the surfaces of sheet-like seal members 1A, 1B composing a gasket base body in such a manner as to be directed in the direction of thickness thereof. A seal member 6 made of a material different from that of the seal members 1A, 1B is filled and/or laminated to form a composite gasket.
