PURPOSE:To display various photographing circumstances so that a photographer can intutively grasp them in the case of performing stereoscopic photographing, the conversion of aspect ratio and panoramic photographing by a compound eye image pickup device. CONSTITUTION:The compound eye pickup device having plural image pickup optical systems is provided with an arithmetic processing part 11 in which a signal showing positional information obtained by respective encoders and rotational angle encoders installed in the respective image pickup optical systems 102 and 202 and a slide mechanism 10 is inputted so as to calculate a photographing condition displayed in a finder 15 and the display position of a graphic expressing the photographing conditions, and a finder video generation part 14 generating a video signal displayed in the finder based on the arithmetic result.
