PURPOSE: To provide a fire-proofing soundproofing wall enduring even a combustion test on a specified condition by a method wherein an acryl glass surface is covered with a layer formed of a material not dissolved and molten at temperature lower than a specified value. CONSTITUTION: Through casting or extrusion-molding, an acryl glass flat plate is manufactured. A vertically preelongated expansion insert is embedded in the acrylic glass flat plate. When the glass flat plate is broken, broken pieces are prevented from flying to surroundings by the expansion insert. The surface of a produced acrylic glass flat plate is covered with a layer with a thickness of 0.1-100μformed of a material neither dissolved nor molten at temperature of 250 deg. or less. For example, by coating with aqueous silicon dioxide-colloidal sol, colloidal silicone dioxide particles are applies. Or, coating with a layer formed of a crosslinked organic polymer material is executed. This constitution provides a sound-proofing wall excellent in fire-proofness.
