PURPOSE:To provide the low-priced stereoscopic image pickup device which can observe a stereoscopic image with high picture quality. CONSTITUTION:A stereoscopic image pickup device 1 is composed of left and right micro video cameras 20L and 20R, pan tilter 10 for vertically and horizontally moving these left and right cameras 20L and 20R, left and right micro video monitors 40L and 40R for respectively projecting the images photographed by the left and right cameras 20L and 20R, and left and right eye cups 50L and 50R respectively fitted to these left and right monitors 40L and 40R and provided with lenses 52 inside. Thus, the images respectively projected on the left and right monitors 40L and 40R are stereoscopically observed while being enlarged by the respective lenses 52 of the left and right eye cups 50L and 50R. |
