PURPOSE:To dispense with usual manual adjustment for setting parameters in a motor control system for which the parameters of a motor control device applied are set in conformity with the type and series of a motor. CONSTITUTION:This system comprises a motor 1, a motor main body 1a and a memory 1b having information on the motor 1 written therein and further a control means 2a in a motor control device 2 which reads out information on the motor main body 1a from the memory 1b built in the motor 1 through a cable 3 at the time when a power source is made, and sets automatically parameters necessary for control of the operation of the motor on the basis of the information on the motor from the memory 1b. By this constitution, the operation can be executed immediately by an arbitrary combination of the motor 1 and the motor control device 2 applied, while the combination is one to one usually. Besides, the number of product types of the motor control device 2 can be reduced sharply. |
