PURPOSE: To provide the device which corrects characteristics (e.g. amplitude, frequency response, i.e., sustain) of the output signal of a pickup of an electromagnet means for a stringed instrument like a guitar having steel strings. CONSTITUTION: This device is a resin sheet which is thin and flat, preferably, filled with a special permanent magnet material and consists of a permanent magnet 31 which is magnetized in the direction wherein the thickness is thin, and the permanent magnet 31 covers almost all of the top surface or bottom surface of the pickup 21 of the electromagnet means. Further, the signal correcting device is equipped with a member for mounting the permanent magnet sheet on the pickup when added to a currently used guitar, a mount element is formed of a permanent magnet or a rim on this one magnet or more steel- made plates, and further the steel-made plates correct the output signal of the pickup. The mount element is not necessary for a signal correcting device which is integrated in a new pickup. |
