PURPOSE:To enable a solar cell to look colorful without reducing the utilization efficiency of light. CONSTITUTION:A wavelength selection scattering layer 2 which is formed by cholesteric polymer sheet, scatters light with a specific wavelength out of visible light containing the light at a wavelength region contributing to the generation of the solar cell in all directions, and allows one part of the scattered light and light with a wavelength other than a specific one to be transmitted is provided on the front surface of a solar cell 1. A part of the scattered light which is scattered from the wavelength selection scattered layer 2 can be seen from any position upward from the wavelength selection scattering layer 2 and hence the solar cell 1 looks colorful. Also, light transmitted through the wavelength selection scattering layer 2 includes much of the light at the wavelength region contributing to the generation of the solar cell and the ratio occupied by light contribution to the generation out of entire light increases, thus enhancing the generation efficiency of the solar cell. |
