<p>PURPOSE:To prevent burning by calculating a clutch temperature accurately when speed change of a speed change gear is abnormal in a clutch temperature calculating system of a slip quantity method. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle where an electromagnetic powder system clutch 2 and a continuously variable transmission 4 are combined with each other, at abnormal time when the continuously variable transmission 4 is stuck in a overdrive condition, primary rotating speed on the clutch driven side is calculated by vehicle speed and a minimum speed change ratio. Slip rotating speed is found by engine speed on the clutch driving side and the primary rotating speed, and a clutch temperature when the vehicle departs in the minimum speed change ratio is calculated according to the slip rotating speed and a clutch current at departure time, and when the clutch is overheated, a warning is issued.</p> |
