<p>PURPOSE:To easily perform timer recording even between different makers by providing a recording reservation function for recording-controlling an external recording equipment in a television and transmitting commands from the television to the external recording equipment such as a VTR or the like. CONSTITUTION:To the television 1, a remote control infrared ray emitting part 22 is attached through a connection cable 21 to the tip and is placed near the remote control light receiving part 19 of the VTR 18. The remote control code of the VTR 18 is stored inside the television 1, the recording of a channel to be recorded at the desired time can be reserved on the side of the television and also the remote control code is transmitted to the VTR 18 corresponding to the remote control code of the VTR 18 stored in the television 1. The VTR 18 receives the remote control code transmitted from the television 1 by the remote control receiver of the VTR itself, operates so as to make it look that a user is instructing the recording by a remote controller for the VTR and performs the recording.</p> |
