<p>PURPOSE:To reuse a cable by cutting a metal corrugated tube by a cutter of a cutting device to be eliminated from a cable coated by a stainless steel metal corrugate tube. CONSTITUTION:Toward a cable 1, in which a conductor 2 is coated by an insulator 4 and other coating members and its outer circumference part, is coated by a metal corrugate tube 8, two cutters 20A, 20B in a cutting device are arranged on both sides of the cable 1 so as to cut the metal corrugate tube 8. In these two cutters 20A, 20B, each of which is supported by a supporting table supported by a finely adjustable supporting table, cutting positions for two cutters 20A, 20B are shifted from each other by a half pitch of a pitch P for the projecting part of the metal corrugate tube 8, and cutting work is carried out in this condition. A part, at the bottom of the recessed part 8b of the metal corrugate tube 8 is left uncut, and the cable 1 and two fragments of the metal corrugate tube 8 are separated by a peeling device arranged in the downstream part, of the cutting device so as to be treated respectively.</p> |
