PURPOSE: To provide a method and an apparatus for dynamically adjusting the output of a vehicle with a fuel cell with generated electrical energy optimally utilized. CONSTITUTION: An air mass flow rate required for a fuel cell 1 to prepare an output demand obtained from an accelerator pedal position is calculated from the target output and adjusted by controlling the number of revolutions of a compressor 8 placed in air piping. In order to prevent the fuel cell 1 from producing a larger electrical output than a drive unit 17 can absorb at that point, the drive unit 17 is restricted by transmitting a corresponding defect signal, and the output demand is thereby coped with. In addition, an output target guided to the drive unit 17 is corrected so that a larger output than an output produced by the fuel cell at that point is never demanded by the drive unit. As a result, damage to the fuel cell is prevented. |
