PURPOSE:To output a text image as a semi-transparent image so as to multiplex it on an image picture. CONSTITUTION:Text data out of image data and the text data inputted from an input terminal 1 are developed to a bit map by a rasterizer 4. A transmissivity register 14 detects and stores a transparency value at the time of semi-transparently multiplexing the text data to the image data. An image area register 13 stores an area for substituting other picture elements for the plotting picture elements of the text data at a prescribed rate at the time of superposing the image data to the text data. In the area, the semi-transparent text image is superposed to the image data and the superposed data are outputted. |
