PURPOSE:To easily open a housing bag and to prevent toner from being splashed when a used cartridge is recovered by constituting the aperture of the housing bag of a chuck member. CONSTITUTION:The process cartridge B is housed in the housing bag 16, held by a cushioning material 17 such as foam polystyrene from both sides and packed in a corrugated carton 18 when it is shipped. Besides, an opening and closing part 16a is provided at the aperture of the bag 16 so as to be freely opened and closed. The opening and closing part 16 is constituted of the chuck member which can be hermetically sealed by mutually engaging the male part and the female part thereof. Therefore, the cartridge B is housed in the bag 16 and hermetically sealed by closing the chuck member so that air in the inside is released. Besides, the opened bag 16 can be reused and the used cartridge is housed in the bag 16. Thus, the residual toner is not splashed in the carton 18 at a recovery time. |
