Method and device for printing variable information on plastic bags

The method for printing a plastic bag comprises the following stages: a) of unwinding, from a magazine (2) a continuous strip (4) of a two-layer thermoplastic material capable of receiving lines of welding to produce the bag format, b) taking a reference position on the bag, c) printing information which can vary from one bag to the next on a predetermined portion, and d) welding/cutting of the bag thus completed at its end weld line, with a view to obtaining this bag.
