PURPOSE: To lock or release a cable easily by a method, wherein a synthetic resin cable tie consists of a strap part having a plurality of retainers and a retaining structure part and the retaining structure part has a base plate part, two sidewall parts with a plurality of retaining protrusions therebetween and a retainment releasing part. CONSTITUTION: A cable tie 1 consists of a strap part 2 having a plurality of retainers 3 and a retaining structure part 4. The retaining structure part 4 includes a base plate part 5, two sidewall parts 6 and 7 and a small piece part 8 which is extended between both the sidewalls 6 and 7 and has retaining protrusions 9. A retention releasing part 10 is formed on the sidewall part 7 perpendicularly. In order to lock a cable, the cable tie 1 is wound around the cable, and one of the retainers 3 of the strap part 2 is retained with the retaining protrusion 9. In order to release the lock, the retention releasing part 10 is operated. With this constitution, the cable can be locked and released easily, and further, the cable tie ca be re-used. |
