PURPOSE:To obtain a vibrating motor being excellent in heat radiation characteristic and generating a large driving force. CONSTITUTION:A stator part 40 comprises two piezoelectric elements 42 and 44, two electrode plates 46 and 48 for impressing a high-frequency AC voltage of three phases to the respective three divisions of these piezoelectric elements, first and second metal block bodies 50 and 52 so disposed as to hold these parts between from outside and a coupling bolt 54 for tightening the metal block bodies. Almost at the centers of the first and second metal block bodies 50 and 52, one slanting slit groove or a plurality of these grooves are formed. When bending vibration is generated in the whole of the stator part 40 by the piezoelectric elements 42 and 44, longitudinal slit grooves 70 are bent, and when the vibration in the direction of the rotating shaft of a rotor is given to these longitudinal slit grooves 70 being bent, torsional vibration in the direction of rotation of the rotor is generated. By this constitution, elliptical vibration occurring on the surface 60 of contact of the stator part 40 with the rotor is also amplified and a large driving force is obtained. |
