<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the management of a mold protector for wire harnesses while improving the freedom of the design of its cover and reducing the number of its parts, by making developable through a hinge coupling of the corner of its U-shaped groove type mold protector main body and its cover, and by making developable through another hinge coupling of the corner of its bottom plate and its cover piece which is a comer present on the same side as the foregoing corner. CONSTITUTION:A wire harness is protected by its storage in a U-shaped groove type mold protector main body 1 fitted with a cover 2. The corner of the U-shaped groove type protector main body 1 and the cover 2 is configured in a developable way by a hinge 6. Also, the corner of a cover piece 7 and a bottom plate 4 which is a corner present on the same side as the foregoing corner is configured in a developable way by a hinge 5. By the hinges 6, 5, the protector main body 1 is developed, and as a result, an opening section 8 is formed, and then, the wire harness is stored in the opening section 8, and thereafter, a main groove 9 is formed by the folding of the developed protector main body 1. Further, branched grooves 10A, 10B are provided in an extended way from the main groove 9, and then, the wire harness is stored in the branched grooves 10A, 10B by its branching. Thereby, the freedom of the design of the cover 2 is improved, and the number of the parts of the protector is reduced, and in its turn, the complexity of the management of the parts is suppressed.</p> |
