PURPOSE:To rapidly and smoothly restart an induction electric motor when the power supply to the induction motor is suspended. CONSTITUTION:When the power supply to an induction electric motor is temporarily suspended and then is restarted, a frequency which is detected from the residual voltage at the primary side terminal of the induction electric motor on restarting is retained and then the frequency is changed at an operating frequency, thus smoothly and rapidly restarting the induction electric motor after momentary stop.
