PURPOSE:To provide an AC-DC converter capable of synchronism linkage, voltage control, reactive power control, and on-load testing even in the case that effective power is not supplied from an AC system. CONSTITUTION:Between both ends of bus lines 2 and 10 connected to two AC systems 1 and 11, AC-DC converters 5 and 7 are put in connection through respective breakers 3 and 9 and transformers 4 and 8 for conversion. The converters 5 and 7 are connected with a DC circuit 6 in between. In addition, a linkage switch 12 is connected between bus lines 2 and 10. |
