The present invention relates principally to a box, in particular a cheese box, and to a method of packing a cheese in such a box. The invention relates to a cheese box comprising a first disc (5) and a second disc (8) and a wall (2) defining a cavity capable of receiving a cheese and extending between the first disc (5) and the second disc (8), a first opening having substantially the shape of the first disc (5) and a second opening opposite the first one and having substantially the shape of the second disc (8), the wall (2) comprising, at the level of the first opening, means (4) of holding the first disc (5) and, at the level of the second opening, means (4) of holding the second disc (8). The present invention principally applies to the food industry, particularly to the manufacture and packaging of cheese. <IMAGE>
