PURPOSE:To provide a video camera focusing device capable of continuously compensating out-of-focus due to the transition of a subject or zooming even on an extremely near position. CONSTITUTION:A feedback loop consisting of a rear lens focusing zoom lens 1, a camera circuit 2, a focusing variable detecting circuit 3, a difference detecting circuit 4, a motor driving circuit 5, and a motor 6 moves a master lens (rear lens) in accordance with the degree of focusing based upon a video signal to focus a video camera. Thereby out-of-focus due to the transition of a subject or the change of zooming power can be continuously compensated even on an extremely near position. |
