This structure is of the type consisting of U-sections (2') defining a checkerboard pattern in which all the grooves (5) of the sections (2'), intended to take the fluid seal (6), communicate with each other, each filter panel (3), the dimensions of which match those of the openings (4) of the checkerboard pattern defined by the structure (2), being provided with a peripheral lip (7) designed to be engaged in the grooves (5) of the four lengths of section (2') delimiting the corresponding opening (4), the product as fluid seal (6) being of the type which is solid at normal temperature and pressure conditions, the melting temperature of which is of the order of 60 DEG C. There is provided, for each unit or modular structure (2), a heating electrical conductor (8) associated with a source (9) for supplying electrical current, and located in the intercommunicating grooves (5) of the lengths of section (2') so that each length of section (2') bordering one of the sides of an opening and, consequently, a filter panel (3) is heated to the same temperature as the others. <IMAGE>
