摘要 PURPOSE: To reduce the inertia couple of a crank shaft and unbalanced couple by a balancing weight in offset relation and reduce vibration and face pressure which operate on a crank journal by specifying the arrangement of the balancing weight arranged in a plurality on the crank shaft. CONSTITUTION: Balancing weights (called 'weight' thereafter) 31, 32 with the weight centers biased from the axial center of a crank shaft to the opposite side of first and second crank pins 1, 2 are provided on first and second crank arms 21, 22 and third and fourth weights 33, 34 biased vertically, where the weight centers are angularly displaced about 90 degrees from the weight center of the first weight in the clockwise direction are provided on fourth and sixth crank arms 24, 26. Fifth and sixth weights 35, 36 made vertically symmetrical with the second and first weights 22, 21 are provided on an eighth and ninth crank arms 28, 29. The second and fifth weights are biased to aα-angular displacement position and the third and fourth weights are biased to aβ-angular displacement position.
