The disposable dental saliva ejector has a holder part (20A) embodying a trough-shaped guiding channel which has an outer face and an inner face and is U-shaped in cross-section with a curved central portion and two straight shanks. The guiding channel is adapted to receive the duct and is limited by two longitudinal edges extending at a given mutual spacement. The chin plate has a mounting sleeve (12A) with a non-circular inner sleeve opening by use of which it is slipped-on on the holder part (20A). The sleeve opening has a first section with a curved portion having the same radius of curvature as the outer face of the curved portion of the holder part and passing into two straight shanks which at their free ends are more spaced apart than what are the longitudinal edges of the holder part (20A). In continuation of the first section a second section (II) has one lobe adjacent each of the two shanks of the first section and a back-up portion located between the two lobes.
