A closure (40) and device (20) for use with a closure (40), the closure (40) including a first member (22) having a beveled edge (42), as a second member (24) having an undercut edge (44), and optionally a base member to which the second member is fixed. The first member (2) is adapted to be received with the beveled edge (42) retained by the undercut edge (44). A test device (20) may include such a closure (40) and may also include a hinge (26) between the first and second members. Test elements, such as a chromatographic medium and absorbent pads, may be disposed on the first member and/or the base member and may be brought into opposition by closing the first member with the closure.
