In the case of a central clock of a weapon clearance device for setting time fuzes in detonators, the central clock and the detonators can be plugged onto one another and can be rotated with respect to one another in order to transmit time. In order to improve the safety of the central clock, it is provided with timing mechanisms (8, 9) which can be wound up, and at the same time run down, using the same winding-up device (2 to 5). A time comparison device (23, 24) is provided which prevents the central clock being plugged onto the detonator (27) if the timing mechanisms (8, 9) have run down to a different extent when the attempt to plug the central clock on is made. <IMAGE>
