The restoring force of a leg spring (6) causes the handle plate (1) to be retained in its basic position. In order to improve aerodynamic properties of the entire door handle, a cover (4) bears flush against the handle plate (1), which cover can be swung away when intervening in the opening (2). <IMAGE>
