PURPOSE:To simplify the handling as well as to prevent the misprint caused by the mistaken operation by providing the function to decide the pumping printing medium is through with process or under process and then to memorize it and throwing in the printing medium again in the case of being under process to enable the printing. CONSTITUTION:The printing device contains pumping printing medium 4 which performs sucking and exhaustion after printing provided platen 2 and print head 1 forming the printing part plus built-in journal printing paper 9. Medium detecting sensor 7 and 8 are provided near stopper 6 to detect the presence or absence of medium 4. Furthermore, the control circuit is added to control the start of sucking and exhaustion of medium 4. Thus, the fact that medium 4 is sucked and exhausted is detected via sensor 7 and 8, and the control circuit decides whether the medium is through with process or under process to memorize it. And the sucking of medium is allowed again in case the medium is under process. While in case the medium is through with process, the resucking action inhibited unless medium 4 is pulled out up to the detection position. |
